FR12-C
The FR12-C is a high output, full range two-way point source loudspeaker housed in a compact rectangular enclosure. It features an LF section with a reflex-tuned 12" cone driver and an HF section with a 1" exit compression driver mounted coaxially on the LF driver. It employs an optimized passive crossover with 4th-order acoustic slopes to integrate the on-axis and off-axis (power response) characteristics of both the high and low frquency secions.
The loudspeaker's coincident driver orientation enables it to produce wide and symmetrical coverage on both the horizontal and vertical axes. Its rugged hardwood multi-ply construction and 16-gauge steel grill make it highly resistant to damage in active environments.
Two optional suspension systems are available. The 12c-SP enables the speaker to be mounted from a single fixed point in ditributed overhead systems, while the 12C-SU allows for easy mounting on any surface, and is adjustable in order to provide the appropriate down-angle with minimal visual intrusion. The FR12-C is available with an internal 30W, 60W or 120W 70-volt transformer as an option. It is fitted with a removable terminal/transformer mounting plate to allow easy selection of transformer taps.
Applications
The compact FR12-C is designed for applications where a cost-effective, high output loudspeaker system with wide and symmetrical coverage pattern is required. It is designed to fit a range of permanent installation applications, and its exceptional durability makes it perfectly suited for use in gymnasiums and other sports facilities.

Architectural Specifications
The two-way full range loudspeaker shall be of a point source type and shall incorporate a 1-inch exit compression driver mounted coaxially on the 12-inch LF cone driver. The coaxial driver shall be mounted in an optimally tuned, vented enclosure. The system shall have a nominal coverage pattern of 900 conical. A passive filter network shall be employed to provide a crossover with 24 dB/octave acoustic slopes and system equalization.
System frequency response shall vary no more than +/- 3 dB from 57 Hz to 18 kHz measured on axis. The loudspeaker shall produce a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 98 dB on axis at one meter with a one watt input, and shall be capable of producing a peak output of 128 dB on axis at one meter. The loudspeaker shall handle 225 watts of amplifier power (AES standard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be rectangular in shape. It shall be constructed from 18mm hardwood multi-ply plywood and shall employ extensive internal bracing. It shall be available in a black or white textured polyurethane finish. The input connector shall be a two-position barrier strip. Six (6) 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points shall be provided in the enclosure sides, back and ends. The loudspeaker baffle shall be covered with a foam-backed perforated steel grill, with a fabric-wrapped MDF grill available as an option.
The loudspeaker shall be Innovox Audio model FR12-C.
