
FR-2526
The FR-2526 is a high fidelity, full range two-way loudspeaker with a passive crossover in a compact trapezoidal enclosure. It features dual 5.25" LF drivers and a single 26-mm soft dome HF driver on a conical waveguide. The speaker employs an optimized passive crossover with 4th-order acoustic slopes to integrate both the on-axis and off-axis (power response) characteristics of the LF and HF sections. The loudspeaker's unique driver orientation allows it to produce wide and horizontally symmetrical coverage from a low profile enclosure. With its matching U-bracket, the loudspeaker may be mounted on either a vertical or horizontal surface and may be easily adjusted to the appropriate down angle with minimal visual intrusion.
Applications
The FR-2526 is designed for applications where a wide coverage, high fidelity loudspeaker system is required in a very low-profile package. It is engineered to fit a wide range of permanent installation applications, and may be mounted in tight spaces with minimal visual impact.

Architectural Specifications
The two-way full range loudspeaker shall incorporate a 26-mm textile HF transducer and two (2) 5.25" LF cone drivers. The HF transducer shall be mounted on a conical wavegiude and the LF drivers shall be mounted in an optimally tuned, vented trapezoidal enclosure. The system shall have a nominal coverage pattern of 900 horizontal x 1100 vertical. The system's driver placement shall yield a uniform and horizontally stable coverage pattern from an enclosure of minimal height. A passive filter network shall be employed to provide a crossover with 24 dB/octave acoustic slopes and system equalization.
System frequency response shall vary no more than +/- 3 dB from 67 Hz to 18,00 Hz measured on axis. The loudspeaker shall produce a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 94 dB on axis at one meter with an input of one watt, and shall be capable of producing a peak output of 121 dB on axis at one meter. The loudspeaker shall handle 175 watts of amplifier power (AES standard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be trapezoidal in shape. It shall be constructed from 19-mm void-free hardwood multi-ply plywood and shall employ extensive internal bracing. It shall be available in a black or white textured polyurethane finish. The input connector shall be paired binding posts. Four (4) 1/4"-20 threaded mounting points shall be provided in the enclosure back and ends. The loudspeaker baffle shall be covered with a powdercoated perforated steel grill, with a fabric-wrapped MDF grill available as an option.
The loudspeaker shall be Innovox Audio model FR-2526.
