
FRC-625E
The FRC-625E consists of an FRC-625 driver and baffle assembly, installed in a 0.25 cu.ft. round, recessed ceiling enclosure with a snap-on metal grille. It features an LF section with a 6.5" cone driver and a coincidentally-mounted HF section. The FRC-625E employs an optimized passive crossover with 4th-order acoustic slopes to integrate both on-axis and off-axis (power response) characteristics of the HF and LF sections. The loudspeakers' coincident driver orientation enables it to produce a wide, uniform off-axis coverage. The FRC-625E is supplied with a 3-point flip-out mounting tab system for quick retrofit in gypsum-board ceilings, and for easy mounting in lay-in tile ceilings (with optional tile bridge). The FRC-625ET includesa high-quality 70-volt transformer with selectable taps of 20, 40 or 60 watts.

Architectural Specifications
The two-way full-range recessed ceiling loudspeaker shall be of the point-source type, and shall incorporate a 1-inch textile dome HF transducer mounted coincidentally on a 6.5-inch LF cone driver. The coincident driver shall be mounted in a 0.25 cu.ft. sealed enclosure. The system shall have a nominal coverage pattern of 120o conical. A passive filter network shall be employed to provide a crossover with 24 dB/octave acoustic slopes and system equalization.
System frequency response shall vary no more than +/- 3 dB from 67 Hz to 21 kHz, measured on-axis. The loudspeaker shall produce a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 89 dB on axis at 1 meter, with an input power of 1 watt, and shall be capable of producing a peak output of 117 dB on-axis at one meter.
The loudspeaker shall handle 175 watts of amplifier power (AES standard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be cylindrical in shape. It shall be constructed from cold-rolled steel (CRS) and shall emloy extensive internal panel damping. It shall be available in a black textured urethan finish, with white grille. The input connector shall be a 2-position Euroblock connector (a 4-position Euroblock shall be provided on model FRC-625ET). Three (3) flip-out mounting tabs shall be provided to allow quick retrofit in gypsum-board ceilings or easy mounting in lay-in tile ceilings with tghe optional TB-8 tile bridge. The loudspeaker grille shall be a two-part construction with a perforated steel center welded to a smoth steel bezel. The grille shall attach to the enclosure with hidden spring clips. The grille shall be finished in white satin urethane, with custom color finished available as as option.
The loudspeaker shall be Innovox Audio FRC-625E or Innovox Audio FRC-625ET.
